NORWOOD PINES MINOCQUA WISCONSIN ENGAGEMENT, JENNY & STEVEN

The snow had fallen and covered all of the tree branches just right, the temperatures were finally manageable for us, and just as it never does, Minocqua did NOT disappoint for our session. I’m so thankful for the gorgeous snow day with Jenny and Steven- the cutest, most genuine and in love engaged couple! The Northwoods is a special place, and if you’ve been, then you know what I’m talking about. It’s peaceful, and yet the possibilities for making memories, regardless of the season, are endless. So, that’s what we did! Over drinks at the brewery, we realized we have a lot of connections, share a love for our military (THANK YOU Steve!), for our NFL team, for our mutual friends, the incredible Aspirus hospital staff (THANK YOU Jenny!), and our own family bonds (I can’t wait to meet you all Up North later this year, Pagels and Brandsmas!!).

You guys, Jenny and Steven are truly amazing. They happened to meet at their Crossfit gym. Fast forward to a weekend morning in the gym after Jenny and her bff crushed a Crossfit competition, Steve asked Jenny to be his wife IN FRONT OF their families AND their Crossfit family. I’m also still not 100% convinced that we won’t be moving their wedding reception to the Crossfit gym! If I’m picking up on anything between these two, it might be that couples who consistently workout together have stronger relationships. Happiness looks so good on them, don’t you think? I love being around them!

Congratulations again Jenny and Steven, I really am so pumped to photograph your wedding day this Fall. I know that it will be one of the happiest days of my own year, too, simply because of how great you both are! Add your families and your best friends to the mix, and I don’t even know how to handle all of that goodness in one day! All my love!
